A Stormy Night, and a Baking Day!

Good Afternoon Peps,

Well it's been a real stormy week here in Sussex, Wednesday night was so windy and wet, I was up crocheting at 1.30am....  I have started a infinity scarf and at present I am using Stylecraft DK in
Shrimp, love the colour and it was one of my purchases the other week.

I have a real issue with Windy weather, I know it seems silly as I am in house made Brick, but it goes back to my childhood, when my Mum managed a caravan park and we lived in a large caravan for a few years, and windy weather in it was scary, walls bind and the van would move.  Sorry I have bumbled on...

Hubbie took this picture in the early hours after a hail storm, Pickle thought it was snow - bless

Thursday was another wet day but not as windy, on school pick up I was blasted by hail stones, so it was straight home for a large pot of tea for me and Hot chocolate with marshmallow fluff for pickle.

I thought I would use up some of my mincemeat still around from Christmas, so I made some pies...

We had some jazz music on the radio and pickle enjoyed playing with Mittens - who seems to get bigger every single day, and has a love for the bath, even with water in it???Crazy cat!

So we also made some cookies, Cranberry and choc chip, which I have just been eating with a cup of coffee.

Hope you all have a lovely Friday
Thanks for stopping by as always!

Mxx
