Yarn Along

Good Afternoon,

Well it's sunny here now at last!, had a great day out to the park yesterday with my pickle and post natal mums.

So I finished my crochet socks for the Autumn.....here they are - smile

I am really happy with them.

I think I will make some for pickle for the winter soon.

So I am now gone back to my cape, which I started in the Winter...and hoping to get it finished before this winter.

It's knitted with Wendy Chunky wool.
It's has a cable pattern which I have taken great care with to get right.

Next on my crochet project list is a blanket...this will be my first time, so bare with me,

I have attached a pretty summer flower picture just to share with my blog friends.

Enjoy your day

Yarn Along - My bag is done!

Good Afternoon,

So awhile ago I started a granny square bag for the holidays in the summer, and here it is...

I am really pleased with it, I made it up a couple of rounds more than the pattern, and changed the colours to my liking. I used all Sytlecraft DK in - Clematis, Cloud Blue, Spring Green, Lemon and Aster

I managed to line with some pretty floral fabric I had in my stash from PJ bottom making earlier this month,

Next up I think I am going to try to make socks again using circular needles...

I have posted this as part of Yarn Along.

Yarn along

Good Morning,

So I have a couple of yarn projects on the go, both for my holiday in the summer!,

First one is my lacy shawl, It's the first time I have tried such a lacy crochet stitch and I am getting used to it.

I am hoping to finish this soon....

My second project is my crochet granny square bag...
This is the wool I have choosen and it will have a fabric lining, the same as my PJ picture here.

I am making slightly bigger than the pattern as I want to use as a beach bag, picture of completed bag to follow soon.

I am new to this link up, so thanks for stopping by.
